How it began
1) Education curricula worldwide still prioritize memorization over applied thinking, and the shift toward hands-on learning was happening without tools that could actually be implemented in overworked classrooms.
2) Ryan and Jana had both built and taught with construction-based learning tools at Bildits and saw firsthand what worked and what the market was still missing.
3) No existing STEM construction kit was curriculum-aligned, teacher-ready, and genuinely engaging for students at the same time. Beaver Edu was built to be all three.
How it's going
1) Over 600 kits sold in their first quarter, 10 Lebanese schools signed, and exclusive retail placement secured with Jouet Club, with distribution deals closed across Benelux, Portugal, Australia, Chile, and the UAE.
2) Won the ToyAward in Germany, described as the Oscars of the toy industry, just five months after founding, competing against more than 600 participants in the startup category.
3) Customer satisfaction averaging 9.4 out of 10, measured by directly calling every individual who purchased a kit online.
