TRS Polymers
About
TRS Polymers is an Abu Dhabi-based cleantech company founded in 2026 that provides tyre recycling technology, engineered rubber compounds, and advisory services to industrial operators, governments, and corporations globally. The company’s TyreXol product line converts end-of-life tyre waste into rubber powder, TPE compounds, and asphalt additives used across road construction, automotive, footwear, and manufacturing industries. With signed agreements across Europe, Latin America, the Gulf, and ongoing negotiations in Australia, TRS Polymers operates as a technology licensor and recycling partner rather than a conventional waste management provider.
TRS Polymers's profile
Mission
To transform end-of-life tire waste into engineered materials and scalable recycling operations that generate commercial value while closing the loop on solid waste.
Vision
To lead tire recycling technology across the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas, enabling a globally distributed network of profitable circular economy plants.
How it began
1) Tyre recycling globally stops at shredding. The crumb rubber output that results is rarely processed further into usable material, leaving a gap between waste reduction and actual value creation.
2) The problem had a clear commercial logic: whoever could process crumb rubber into materials that met industrial specification would own the step in the value chain that nobody else was serving.
3) The founding team structured TRS Polymers as a technology company rather than a recycling operator, specifically to make the solution scalable and deployable across markets without being anchored to one geography.
How it's going
1) Signed agreements are in place in Peru, Spain, Lebanon, Greece, and Kuwait, with negotiations underway in Australia and Turkey.
2) The rubberized asphalt technology has cleared a significant regulatory hurdle: it can now be submitted in public infrastructure tenders, opening the government procurement market.
3) The quality of the TyreXol engineered output, both the rubber powder and the TPE compounds, is being well received by industrial clients, and the team’s ability to customize formulations to client specifications is proving to be a commercial differentiator.
